FAQ

Locations FAQ

Which countries and cities does PassRidge cover?

PassRidge lists QA work in 53 countries and 351 cities. They are grouped into 8 regions: US & Canada, UK & Ireland, Western Europe, Nordics, Central & Eastern Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa. Every country has its own page with local pay, hiring rules and time-zone overlap.

How are cities ranked into tiers?

Tier A cities are established QA hubs with steady listings (40 cities). Tier B cities are growing hubs (86). Tier C cities are emerging markets (225). Tier decides how prominently a city appears and how its pay and cost-of-living index is set.

Are the salaries on location pages exact?

They are modelled medians in local currency, built from posted pay ranges and national pay indices. We show the median plus a p10 to p90 band (median x 0.82 to x 1.22). City pages apply a tier-based index to the country figure, so treat them as a guide.

Can I work remotely from a city with no listings?

Yes. 23% of open roles are remote. Pages for cities without a local listing show the nearest hub's openings and remote roles, and the time-zone strip shows which client hours you can cover.

Does PassRidge help with contracts and payroll abroad?

Country pages summarise typical contract types, notice, leave and on-costs. For hiring without a local entity we work with employers of record. The summaries are not legal or tax advice.
