About the CV Checker
The CV Checker reads your CV text and compares it with the skills and tools we see for a QA role. It checks keywords, results with numbers, standard sections, length, action verbs and contact details, then explains what to change.

How the numbers are built
Keyword banks come from the skills and tools defined for each of our 15 roles and from the tools named in real listings. Matching is done on words and common variants, case-insensitive, so write the name as a recruiter would search for it.
The score weighs keywords (40 points), quantified results (20), sections (15), length (10), action verbs (10) and contact details (5). It checks what is easy to measure, not whether your experience is strong, so treat it as a proofreading aid.
CV Checker FAQ
Is my CV uploaded or stored?
No. The text is processed by JavaScript in your browser tab and is never sent to a server. Closing the tab discards it unless you choose to save a draft locally.
Does a high score guarantee interviews?
No. It shows you have covered what recruiters scan for. Interviews depend on your experience, the market and the match with the role.
Should I stuff keywords in?
No. Add a keyword only where it is true and attach it to a result. Lists of tools with no evidence are easy for people to spot.
How long should a QA CV be?
One to two pages, roughly 400 to 800 words for most people, with the most relevant experience first.
