About the Interview Vault
Interview Vault is a question bank for QA interviews. Each question has a level (junior, mid or senior), a topic and a model answer of two to four sentences. Answers are written to be correct and specific, not generic.
- 8 to 10 questions per role, 136 in total
- Filter by level and topic, search by keyword
- Mark questions as practised; progress stays in your browser
Three steps
- 1
Choose your role
Open the page for the role you are applying for.
- 2
Answer out loud first
Read the question, answer in your own words, then reveal the model answer and compare.
- 3
Mark and repeat
Mark questions you can answer cleanly. Revisit the rest the next day.
How the numbers are built
Questions were written from the duties and skills in our role definitions and from the tools in our listings. Each answer states the idea, the trade-off and, where it matters, a concrete example or number.
Model answers are starting points. Interviewers want your experience, so add a project where you used the idea. If an answer here disagrees with your team's practice, explain why; that is a good interview signal.
Interview Vault FAQ
Are these the exact questions I will be asked?
No question bank can promise that. These cover the topics that come up repeatedly for each role, so you practise the reasoning, not memorised lines.
How should I use the model answers?
Answer aloud first, then compare. If you missed a point, ask why it matters and find an example from your own work.
Do you track my progress?
Progress is stored only in your browser's local storage. We never see which questions you practised.
Are there questions by tool such as Playwright or JMeter?
Questions that rely on a tool carry its tag and are linked from the matching skills page. Role pages are the main route.
