How the numbers are built
Easy questions score 1 point, medium 2 and hard 3, for a maximum of 40. Junior is 0 to 13, mid-level 14 to 24, senior 25 to 33 and lead 34 and above, provided the mindset topic scores at least 6 of 8. A strong score in one topic does not make up for gaps in another, which the radar makes visible.
It is a quick indicator, not an exam or a certification. Real levels also depend on experience, scope and results at work.
QA Level Test FAQ
Is the test a real assessment?
It is a calibration tool. It tells you where your knowledge sits against typical expectations, but employers assess skills in interviews and work samples.
Can I retake it?
Yes, as often as you like. Questions stay the same but answer order is shuffled, so use it to measure progress after learning, not to memorise.
Is my result stored anywhere?
Only in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to our servers unless you choose to share it by link.
Why is mindset in a technical test?
Seniority in QA depends on judgement and communication as much as tools. Lead-level results require a solid mindset score.
